Olaloi Mara Camp, hotel in Sekenani

Located in Masai Mara in the Narok region, Olaloi Mara Camp has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Some units feature a seating area and/or a balcony.

Our stay at Olaloi Mara Camp was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the Maasai Mara. The camp's location right on the reserve provides an unparalleled experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and wildlife of the area. The hosts Jacob and Jemima were incredibly responsive and attentive, always just a message away on WhatsApp. This level of service made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. My family and I enjoyed incredible meals tailored to our tastes and a fine dining experience. More importantly, we felt secure sleeping through the night, knowing that our vigilant security guard, Tenin and Basko, was always on duty, protecting us from any hippos, hyenas, or other wildlife outside. The dark sky further enhanced the property, allowing us to enjoy stargazing and view the Milky Way in all its clarity as early as 9 p.m.

Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, hotel in Sekenani

Jambo Mara Safari Lodge is located in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Some units feature a terrace and/or balcony.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Both me and my friend woke up with severe back pain each day we stayed. One night, I woke up because of discomfort at 1:30 am and was not able to go back to sleep because the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Moreover, there was no heater in the room, and it was always freezing. We used the blanket on top of the comforter, but that did not help when we needed to get out of bed. Food was ok. The staff was ok. But i would not stay here if i knew what i kn ow now. Definitely is not worth the price

Really nice and helpful staff. John and Jacob made our safari unforgettable. They were very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. In addition Isaac cooked us wonderful meals. Per our request vegan and it was very tasteful and healthy! kanunka told us everything we liked to know about the Maasai people. Finally John arranged a pass through the park to bring us to our next destination with his landcruiser.

John, Jacob and James were amazing hosts. We had a really good 2 day safari with them in Maasai Maara. Jacob was very good in explaining us about various animals we spot. John was an excellent safari guide too. The camp we stayed was also very good. They had good breakfast too. The entire camp stay was great. It had two beds, and was spacious. Shower was good with hot water, We had very good conversations about our cultures as well. The stay is quite close to Sekenani gate, a very ideal location

Good location for Maasai Mara reserve. They organised safari, hot air ballooning, Maasai village visit etc. Prices are high for what you get compared to other parts of the world but I suppose that's standard in the area and not the fault of the accommodation. We were lucky the place was available when we visited. I would stay there again but I wouldn't say its great value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful, to the best of their abilities. I think any shortcomings lie with upper management and owners who are not on-site.

Very warm and kind people manning the Camp, from housekeepers to Reception. Excellent spread and sumptuous Breakfast. Superb people running the show in Dining Area, even interns were full of Enthusiasm. Well maintained Swimming pool and overall a superb camouflaged accommodation in midst of vast wilderness. Amazing sitout at Bar, splendid evening show, awesome Mini Club to wind down in evening from Club Tent, Their team hasn't left any stone unturned to make it more memorable than Safari as well.

Great tents with showers, electricity and verandas, attentive staff, great value for money, location very close to the park, camp fire and local traditions, and, most importantly, amazing salaries! It is a mid-range camp that provides you a wonderful opportunity to have great game drives with wonderful guides, sleep comfortably and spend reasonable money. Safari tourism can be extremely expensive but thanks to Drunken Elephant we were able to see the best of Maasai Mara, be comfortable and not spend a fortune.

The good parts: hospitable owners and good safari driver (Mr. Rolex) Not so good parts: Location is extreme, the accommodation has infestation of bugs in the washroom especially at night, food quality is not so good, Wi-Fi is not available in the room, water in washroom is yellow and brackish, electricity issues, etc. Solution: Better options are available in Narok city. Better to stay overnight in Narok and then travel to Mara in the morning. Mara safari can be easily completed in 1-day. Thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-week stay at Tayari camp. The staff members were exceptionally trained and kind; they offered high-quality room service, warm cooked meals, and safari/ local tours. We were very well taken care of during our trip. The camp is about a 5 min drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, and we saw 4 of the big 5 animals (plus some cool ones like hippos) within the first 2 hours of our safari drive. We highly recommend Tayari camp to anyone looking to experience Maasai Mara.
