Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Had a great time at the lake Naivasha resort. Clean and spacious rooms. I lodged in Petunia and really liked the ambiance of the accomodation. Lydia at the reception was welcoming and Vincent the driver was very professional with me and my friend. I loved the breakfast, location of the resort and the green environment. I had a lovely three days holiday. I highly recommend the LNR.
The biggest asset to this house is the view from the balcony and the patio. Its superb. Also, for golfers its location being so close to the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort is excellent. The WiFi was good, with fairly stable speed. The use of the pool at the lodge was helpful. The small pool is heated... the main pool isn't! Something to remember when you head down the slide from one into the other!! ; )
The view from the parlour and balcony upstairs was lovely and the entire house was cozy like a home. The staff and especially Judy was very kind and supportive. She was a super host. David ensured that we had a lovely meal and had enough firewood for a cozy evening fire. The overall GVRL neighbourhood is lovely for walks and family bonding activities. We loved the heated pool and badminton game the staff at the lodge set up for us. Thank you all.
It’s modern, it’s new and comfortable bed with premium bed linen. The staff were attentive and did their best. My 4x4 had been on safari and it was washed for free. The chef, met our dietary needs without any problems. The food was delicious. The hotel did not have a bar or serve alcohol. We do no drink alcohol. The bedroom was large with a large smart TV with Netflix and YouTube etc working. The hotel provided flip flop and complimentary toothbrushes with toothpaste. Secure parking, strong free WiFi.
Personal and very kind approach of the host and her family , especially Mark,, his grandmother and daughter. The appartment was very big, safe, clean and fully furnished. The place is in quiet part of Naivasha, very close to service park of SAFARI RALLY. We went every day to stages with Mark, who is very decent, very good driver and always tried to do the best. WIFI was OK. We spent there the nice week. Thank you to all of you.
The lodge was great! Food had so much variety and catered to all our requirements. Desserts were so tasty! The lawn was amazing and so lush and this was the highlight of our stay because there were zebras roaming around the lodge and I have never been so close to one. It was simply amazing and overall relaxing. This was one of the best weekend getaways to detox from the city.
It was a pleasant surprise, it shows the experience of the management and care for details. The location is comprised with cabins with separated rooms. You pay for a room and you´ll share a common space in the cabin, such as the entrance and the TV space. The lodge is in a remote area, and even so, wifi was working very well. Food is very good and abundant. Staff is very welcoming, doing their best, even the young people under training. We will certainly come back if we are doing more visits to the parks in the region.
This is our second time coming here. The lodges were nice with an amazing view. Nothing to complain there.
Their restaurant was nice with a good selection in their buffet and the staff were going out of their way to insure that we enjoyed our stay.
We were upgraded to presidential suite which was amazing! Hippos were grazing in front of our room in the evening. In the morning we took pictures with monkeys, zebras and wildebeest all within the hotel’s premises! this hotel has been a highlight for the kids during our Kenya trip - also the beds were much more comfortable compared to all the other safari lodges/hotels we stayed.
