Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Really loved the stay. The camp is in Buffalo Springs not Samburu but this was no problem - we had two days self drive safari in Buffalo Springs and Shaba and saw Lion, Cheetah and Leopard with the help of a ranger which Ashnil organised. Food and service was great. Great value for money.
It was the best safari experience! The lodge facilities are comfortable, very good food in taste and variety and the location is simply the best! Can only recommend the place!
great location for all three parks especially since bridge in park is closed. 5 mins from samburu and buffalo springs in a stunning natural setting overlooking gorge. great natural design with eye for details - excellent cooking and very friendly owners and staff. and this for a fraction of the price of the chain safari lodges
