Badly maintained. Smelly. Used phenoil spray inside the room. The in charge asked for additional money for hot water. Not suitable even for a bachelor and forgot for family.

But this one is exceptional because best in cleanliness , service etc and very comfortable to stay at this lodge.

Absolutely LOVED the gardens. The location is inside the Govt State horticultural garden. It's a vast place to walk around and just enjoy nature. The staff was very polite and responsive. The restaurant on location was also great. For a government lodge - it was stunning.
We where 12 family members. Only thing I liked was the view, Which a lot of stays have in ooty.
What we didn't like everything, stay worst, staff horrible, we all slept in hall with our blankets stay was not at all clean. Pls don't go on pictures, it's nothing like that.
It's nothing but like a lodge for Boys who want to drink smoke fight and sleep. Not recommended for couple and family.

nothing. the cheapest lodges in ooty are far better than this place. the management staffs are so irresponsible that they will not even pickup yoir call.
The place is a basic "bnb" not a hotel or lodge. It has a kitchen but not a restaurant or cafe. No tea or coffee facilities. It did not provide sufficient or acceptable meals except idli and the nearest restaurants are very far away. It was relatively clean but our room next to the kitchen smelled of stale food.
Really disappointed at the cleanliness of the rooms. My spouse didn’t even take a shower there. doors to all our rooms were old and stuck and could not be locked or unlocked easily. Very embarrassed over booking this for family. It looks great in pictures on the one side, the other side looks like a lodge. Really disappointed given the 4k per night price
Prime location, Economy stay, fantastic staffs very good, superb tasty food from restaurant attached to this property, car parking was nice though not a easy go park because it's a residential cum lodging. Overall a good bet for a 3.5 star rating, but may not be suitable for hi-fi families looking for a lavish 4star and above treatment. Also excellent money value for group of people. I am giving this review inspite of no discount given to me when I requested during checkout, but still my honest feedback is this.
