Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Courteous and always willing to help.
Amazing host. Goes above and beyond.
Arranged jeep safari.
Suggested places to visit and places to eat and shop.
Excellent place to stay if you are looking for budget friendly and excellent quality.
An amazing lodge nestled in nature. Remember, this is not a hotel. There are only four rooms. So here you find peace and nature. There is a plantation walk in the morning. After that it is up to you. Read a book. Sit by the pool. Or take an expedition to one of the many nature spots nearby. The staff gave helpful suggestions, and arranged someone to drive us.
Shukkoor and his family are lovely - they were so kind to us and went above and beyond when my partner was ill. They also arranged transport from Cochi, and helped me get to my safari meeting point. The location is stunning (beautiful sunsets over the mountains), it’s very quiet at night, and the rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. We are sad to leave and we highly recommend staying here. Thanks again to a very nice, kind and generous family for having us to stay.
Clean room, the owners were welcoming. The staff were very attentive. The breakfast was great. The owner connected us with a local jeep driver who arranged a jeep safari, tickets for the Periyar wildlife park, a Marshall arts show and onward travel to Munnar ( thank you).
Clean, friendly and great location near to the tiger reserve and close to restaurants. Could see deer and bison from the back of the property. Very helpful family organising the safari for us and even helped me print something for the next part of our trip.
The property is located in a peaceful location. And its in the lap of mother nature.
Aunty(the owner) takes very good care of the guests. We felt like home. She helped us to get our Jeep Safari booking and elephant ride booking also. Got very good guidance to explore nearby places like grape yards, vegamon etc.
Would like to stay there again.
The host and his wife were both really lovely and helped us book the Rafting experience we wanted to do along with a Jeep Safari. The room we stayed in was also exceptionally clean and cosy and the location was close to anything you would need. Overall, really good stay
