Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Loved this little guest house - the owner Shoy was very helpful giving us advice about getting there over WhatsApp and the check in experience was really easy. Our room was huge and very clean with great views of the mountains. Was cute wood paneled ski lodge vibes! It was cold but the bed came with an electric mattress topper and we were given an electric heater on request. Staff were attentive and friendly. Thanks for the stay!
Good not that bad. But these are like small lodges around Mall Road. They claim to be 3 star hotels but they are not . The staff were very polite and helpful. That’s all about this hotel.
Over all management( e.g. behaviour, lodging, fooding, lukeworm drinking water supply during the cold & rainy weather)of the Homestay owner was very good.
* Special care was given to our one year child by Homestay owner( Dinesh Bhai) & his family was highly appreciated
The name homestay really fit to this as we felt really a family(homy) environment.
Thank you Dinesh Bhai & family.❤️
Highly recommend Golden Orchid-The Lodge for a delightful lodging experience. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, offering a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. The staff was friendly and accommodating especially Mr Paul who was very helpful ensuring a pleasant stay from check-in to check-out. The convenient location made it easy to access nearby attractions. Overall, a wonderful choice for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.
Owner Mr. Anis Gurung and Manager Aman Tapa are very good person. They are very good human beings. They always take care to the guest. Green Lodge's every corner was very neat and clean. Deluxe Double room for 4 person are comfortable. Wash room was perfect. It also neat and clean.
