The Lodge has a very nice setting within distance to Sneem village.
There are sufficient amount of cafes and restaurants to have a bite to eat, serving varieties of culineries to choose from.
Sneem village is very quant with old style surroundings, ample walk areas with beautiful picturesque scenery to view.
Breakfast at the lodge was amble and very enjoyable.
Trish, our host, was very pleasantly attentive and made our stay most welcome.

We stayed for 5 days at the Álaind Lodges in the mid of February and our stay was perfect.
The Lodge was beautiful, as well as the rooms. Everything was very clean.
We loved the breakfast as we had everyday fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt and freshly made typical Irish breakfast.
The hosts were very lovely and gave us a lot of amazing tips to explore sneem and the surrounding area.

Álaind Lodges is situated in a wonderfully quiet area on the outskirts of the village of Sneem.
Our bedroom was downstairs with an en-suite bathroom; the shower was excellent.
Fergal is a very amiable and knowledgeable host, who can offer many suggestions for things to see and do, especially within the Ring of Kerry.
Breakfast was tasty and served with a smile.

Ideally placed for exploring the Ring of Kerry/Skellig Ring, Fergal was an extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful host. The Lodge is in a beautiful and quiet location just outside of Sneem. Breakfast was excellent and there are a number of possibilities in Sneem for an evening meal. The room was of adequate size with plenty of wardrobe/drawer space and the bathroom nicely sized with a great shower. The bed was nice and comfy too.
