The property is in the middle of nature with great views and a lovely common area where you can run into and socialize with other guests (if you like!). No place like this elsewhere in Tomohon and I feel it really adds value to the area.
The hosts Arno and Anggi were so so lovely and so was the staff. Good communication, helpful and loved to chat with them. They really made me feel like home and actually makes me want to return to Tomohon. Tomohon’s Minahasa wetlands are a dream!
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We loved the vibe of the lodge, fruits and water, coffee and tea were freely available. The breakfast was simple but better than most because of the home made bread. Arno took us on a daytour which made the experience exquisite, such knowledge of the environment (and good to know, where there is driftsand) and with so much passion. My tip is to take a taxi to the volcano which you can hike by yourself and daytrip with Arno with rafting, such a beautiful environment and the waterfall. 😃
