It was a ski lodge high overlooking Kalavryta. The bed was on an open landing above the lounge area. Fantastic breakfast on the groundfloor veranda. The air was fresh and the location was very quiet.
Elevated above the town (but less than 10 mins walk) this is a traditionally furnished stone lodge, busy during ski season but quiet and peaceful during the summer. A choice of apartments and rooms, some with lovely balconies and all with kettles and fridges. Great owners who did everything to make our stay comfortable including providing breakfast made to our preferences, offering a choice of rooms so we could pick the coolest during a heatwave, and making very good suggestions for tavernas in town.
