The Lodge, hotel in Walberswick

Located in the outskirts of Walberswick in the Suffolk region, The Lodge features accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking.

Lovely location, just outside the village of Walberswick. In the room there was a toaster and a loaf of bread, cornflakes, milk, jam/marmalade etc in the fridge, plus plates, bowls and cutlery. Had everything I needed. Was sent code for front door, and for me key box prior to arrival. Peaceful location.

The Coach House Suffolk, hotel in Walberswick

Located in over 2 acres of gardens, close to the Suffolk Coast, The Coach House Suffolk is ideally located for exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk to the South.

GREAT LOCATION: -Just on the outskirts of the town we were visiting - Lowestoft. -Adjacent to Carlton Marshes, which is a great place to run/walk and/or birdwatch or simply nature hike - all the way to Oulton Broad or Beccles actually. So, hotel would be a great base for hikers and/or twitchers! -Also next door to the East Anglian Transport Museum - a very underrated place to visit. LOVELY BUILDING: -I remember this as Hedley House from 35 or so years ago. New owners have done a really nice job in restoring the charming character of this building. It is nicely appointed, comfortable and warm. -Rooms were nicely appointed, even with no aircon. NICE STAFF: Small and friendly staff - from check in through to the restaurant, which served up really nice food. The breakfast was super, and well worth it.

Eastwood Lodge was good value for money. The room was a good size and clean. Breakfast supplies were provided and the small kitchenette was useful. It was in a beautiful area with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep.

This is an excellent no frills place to stay close to the otherwise expensive Walberswick. The room was bigger than expected with a 'kitchenette' area with microwave and kettle, table and chairs, and a small sofa. Bathroom with walk in shower, and use of garden. The Lodge is handy for walks and cycling on the heaths and marshes, and a twenty minute walk to the village, albeit along a sometimes busy road.

The room was spacious and enhanced with a small kitchen area complete with fridge and microwave. The Lodge is located with a level, 15 minute walk to Walberswick and to the outskirts of Southwold over the bridge. Parking is very straightforward on site and the property provided the essential ingredients for a continental breakfast while we stayed.. Very good value for money - we enjoyed our stay.

We chose The Lodge for its reasonable price in comparison with hotels in neighbouring Soutwold, where we attended a friend's funeral.. We thought we might "get what we paid for", but were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room, cleanliness and the kitchenette facilities. The variety of items for Continental breakfast was more than adequate. (We brought our own soya milk and spread.) The other four units were unoccupied, so we were fortunate to enjoy a very peaceful stay!

I liked its remoteness. In warmer weather you could take advantage of the outdoor space on the front of the property. I liked that it had good security. It was nice and quiet. you could hear other people returning to their rooms but they seem to respect others staying at the lodge as noise levels were low.

We liked staying at the farmhouse style lodge with great view opposite of an open field. The accommodation was both characteristic and functional suiting us fine.
