The location was perfect for us. Public car park was a short distance away ( less than 5min walk) and not too pricey for 24hr stay. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. All the bedding and towels smelt really fresh.

Everything!! Beautiful lodge, very nice and secluded but amazing location, right in the heart of Cornwall. Within easy driving distance to pretty much everywhere.
So cosy, the 4 poster bed is so comfortable and just what you need after a busy day exploring Cornwall
The Lake by the lodge is wonderful with a family of Canadian geese and other wildlife nearby. My partner in particular loved the rowing boat :)
The hosts are so friendly and accommodating, great knowledge of the local area, just the best!
Chycara was perfect for our 2 night stay! Comfortable bed, peaceful location, great local pub, perfect… we look forward to maybe staying longer in a larger lodge…
I've stayed here twice for work purposes. As a lone female, I was glad to stay on site (there are lodges outside the main hotel). The first stay was on the third floor, it was a lovely room, with a bath and overhead shower in the ensuite, the bed was so comfortable. I had a meal in their restaurant which, was delicious. As I was starting work early they let me take away a breakfast with coffee and couldn't help me enough. I was so pleased I booked here again for my next work trip. The staff are really lovely.
The lodge was superb everything you could need was provided, nice and quiet location and lodges well spaced, would highly recommend and will visit again.
