Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Stayed in one of the dog friendly lodges , quite spacious and located just behind the hotel .Hotel was well located to visit any of the Gower beaches and also walking distance from a couple of pubs.Food was good in the hotel and the dog even got her own sausage at breakfast . The staff was all very helpful and friendly .
This is a small hotel, with 9 bedrooms plus 5 lodges for dog owners/wheelchair guests.
Our room was comfortable with a decent ensuite, plus tea/coffee making facility.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Evening meals were available but we only needed the breakfasts which was included in the room price.
Location was very quiet as hotel is tucked away down a narrow road.
