After being let down by a national chain Lodge, that we Travelled to😉, because it was full of drunk homeless and immigrants. (Which I have no problem with, everyone needs a place to stay) We found the Watergate at very last minute. They couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly.
Breakfast was amazing, staff were super friendly and helpful for everything. The whole place was better than a travelodge by a exceedingly high margin.
Set in a beautiful, quiet location. A cozy and comfortable lodge with everything we needed to make an enjoyable stay. The hot tub was a wonderful relaxing evening treat after a busy day of walking, touring nearby towns and visiting attractions.
