Lovely welcoming host who helped us with local travel arrangements. I would definitely stay here again. The lodge is perfectly placed for events at the Emirates Stadium, which is just a few minutes away by tram.
The restaurant has been closed now for some time but still a great breakfast. Not the first time I have stayed and Eskdale Lodge provides a comfortable clean bed and a good breakfast. All I need for work.
The staff was extremely kind and willing to accommodate our late check-in. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The lodge itself is very homey and lovely, with renewed facilities where it matters (e.g., restrooms). Despite my very short overnight stay, I had a terrific experience.
Easy to find, a great location - and the lady running the establishment is a star who really made the trip. Eskdale Lodge will be my home from home when staying in Manchester which I hope to be doing regularly for some time. Oh yes - the bathroom in my room could have been in a four or five star place - really nice.
Eskdale Lodge had a nice homey feel about it. Felt comfortable going down into bar on my own for a drink before bed. The staff were friendly & the young man who checked me in & showed me to room, offered to carry my bag upstairs for me. Bed comfy good nights sleep.
Great choice and supply of breakfast left out for me and the fridge had some drinks in it which was great.
Great supply of towels, bowls, toilet roll etc. - Had everything I needed.
Bed was super comfy.
Shower/toilet was great, clean and had everything you needed in it.
The room was extremely tidy, clean and spacious.
Overall a really great experience at Brooklands Lodge! Would definitely recommend.
Check in was a virtual / via the phone so I didn’t encounter any of the staff/owners etc but would have loved to!
