Surf Lookout - King size en-suite with sea views, hotel in St Austell

Boasting sea views, Surf Lookout - King size en-suite with sea views provides accommodation with a balcony and a kettle, around 1.3 km from The Harbour Beach.

The location is perfect, 300 meters from the beach and a 10-minute walk into the town centre. The room is small but cosy, the shower was much better than I expected and the balcony with a sea view was used for BBQing 1 night. It's not a full kitchen but cutlery, plates, etc were provided for microwaving or BBQing. The owners' communication was spot on, they provided all the information required with detailed directions.

An old historical estate house very thoughtfully extended into a lovely hotel with separate lodges. It also has a fabulous spa & extensive grounds that you can walk around.

It’s on a great location near St Austell for touring Cornwall as I did on daily excursions. The hotel also has lodges that cater for larger groups but I was in the main hotel. The room was very comfortable and spacious with everything you need including a fridge, good selection of teas, biscuits etc and bath robes. The view was pleasant and it would be great to enjoy the large balcony during warmer months. Breakfast was excellent.

The fabulous lodges (which we requested a move to after initial dissatisfaction with the allocated hotel room). Nice restaurant and bar area as well. Would recommend.

Stunning views from the bedroom front window. Various other places to visit, not far away from hotel. Individual Lodges, separate from the hotel, available to stay in too. The Spa facilities are separate from the hotel. Only a short walk/drive, but they are fully adequate. The flip flops to wear at the poolside, available at the Spa Reception Desk, is a nice touch too.

The woodland lodges were lovely. Really well equipped and spacious in a tranquil setting, personally we much preferred them to the hotel rooms. The use of the swimming pool and spa were an added bonus
