The property was very clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax and it gave a really cosy and chilled vibe, especially with the mood lighting and fireplace. The bed was super comfortable and with the blackout curtains, we both had great sleeps! It was a super clear night when we had our stay and we were both shocked at the amount of stars you could see, it was amazing!

It was one of the, if not the best accommodations on our travel through Scotland. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would have liked to stay longer. The former barn is nicely renovated with a modern and very stylish interior. The fireplace was perfect for cozy evenings.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Lovely comfortable lodge in a beautiful location . Great place for a family reunion with grandchildren who loved the place . Wonderful warm welcome from the host and a cosy welcoming pub for evening meals just next door .
Location amazing, in sight of the Loch just a short walk away. West Highland Way walking trail runs past the entrance. Very quiet at night. Lodge was well equipped so we cooked some of the time and used the BBQ though there is a Pub almost next door if you prefer to eat out. It was busy though, booking for dinner recommended. Friendly and helpful owner, not on site but easy to contact by phone, grateful for me reporting a couple of maintenance issues.
The location is breathtaking and we were there the evening of the amazing Northern lights show so very special and memorable for us. The Lodge ticked all the boxes for us and had a very homely feel. Ensure that you have all basic provisions with you as there is nowhere nearby to shop. We used the Lodge as a base to climb Ben Lomond so excellent location as right near the start of the walk.
Luxury accommodation, stunning location, Kitchen fully stocked including a few beers in the fridge. We only stayed the one night as our only luxury accommodation whilst doing the west highland way. The view of Loch Lomond from the lodge is stunning.
The location and the facilities. Yes the building is a bit tired but we were in the lodges which were bright and airy. The bar serves good wholesome food just what’s required while hiking. The staff are all pleasant and knowledgeable. The only downside I feel is the number of staff is not enough during peak times. But the staff there are all go the extra mile.
