This lodge was fantastic for what we paid, onsite jjs bar was lovely brilliant staff service and food lovely. Nice peaceful area perfect for getting away with family to chill out. Definitely we return at a later date. 😁

Amazing place! I'm so pleased that we found this little gem! Shared facilities was brilliant! Wendy thought about every single detail :) fire pit, little boat, BBQ, all those little wooden huts! I was speechless when they have introduced me to the area.. beautiful peaceful place. If you like a stay surrounded by nature, off grid, without reception in Your phone then this is the place!

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, it was clean and comfy.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Paid for hot tub, did not work, swapped lodge TV didn't work, got offered 2 lodges, and spent my husbands 60th in separate lodges, I was in hot tub in 1 and my husband was in other watching football, but staff were amazing
Welcomed on arrival, nice room in a lodge and cleaned daily. Easy parking. The lodges are very comfortable and warm. Breakfast excellent value. Evening meals good but choice limited for veggies, little in the way of fresh vegetables! Gym in good condition and clean too.
Great location, plenty of free parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the lodges in the car park, nice and quiet and very warm even though it was freezing outside. Decent self service buffet breakfast. Great value for money.
Lovely lodges set in beautiful surroundings. Very quiet and comfortable. It was -2 whilst we stayed however the heating kept us nice and cosy. (Had access to the gym although we didn't use this during our stay) Breakfast was a buffet offering both continental and full English options. (Plenty of choice) Good links to the surrounding area and short drive to York. There was also an option to check in outside of hours.
Unusual layout - bar and restaurant in a clubhouse, the rooms are then in lodges in the woodland - sounds odd but works really well. Rooms are really nice as well.
