Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Made to feel very welcome. I was on a cycling tour and while I usually go for chain hotel convenience, Meadowlea gave me all the space I needed, while also giving a friendliness which the Premiers and 'Lodges of this world really don't. Excellent breakfast, some great tips of where to go etc. Sharing a bathroom with two other rooms was no problem; especially as things were scrupulously clean and worked. Would stay again, for sure.

Our lodge was absolutely perfect! We were 1st time glampers, and it was an amazing experience. Sera and Phil were more than accommodating. They were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They happily entertained many conversations with our children. I can not rate them and their gorgeous accommodation enough. Everything was clean, the kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. We enjoyed a camp fire every night. A wonderful experience for the whole family. Ee will definitely be back!

What an amazing property. Very private and relaxing. Great views of lake and country side. Brilliantly equipped luxury cabin with superb wood burner. the hosts were very attentive and couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. Finally the live wildlife cameras and live feed to the lodge was wonderful and a super extra. A huge thank you to our hosts.

This was a real surprise I knew wetherspoons offered good value on food and drinks but didn't expect they offered such a great value for money hotel that was clean, well equipped and such friendly staff. Top Mark's will definitely come back and try others far better value, comfort and cleanliness than a travel lodge or premier inn etc.

Great hotel! The room was spacious, comfy large bed, tea making facilities, bathroom was clean and modern with both walk in shower and bath. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the pub below was ideal for food and breakfast. Much better than a travelodge and a cheaper price.
