Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Excellent location forr Newark town centre. Nice location with plentry of free parking. Free WiFi.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Far better value than the local Travelodge.
Modern lodge in a quite picturesque setting. All mod cons available. Liked the small balcony which was plenty big enough for 4 people. Surrounded by wildlife and good pub in the village.
The location of this hotel was great and the cost less than the nearbye travelodge which is usually pricey in a popular town. The hotel also confirmed safe storage for our bikes which was crucial as we were on a cycle tour around Lincolnshire. The staff were great 👍
The Newark Lodge Guest House is up with and maybe even the best I've ever stayed at , If your looking for somewhere to stay in this area ,book this ,you won't be disappointed, everything was perfect, the hosts were brilliant, friendly, great breakfast too , don't pass this place up
Location brilliant, small touches like dressing gowns and slippers lovely and unexpected, sofa slightly hard but was poss given a pet friendly lodge. 6 year old was obsessed with the hot tub.
Excellent value for money. Location superb for our needs. A place to rest close to the A1 with no noise.
Breakfast was great with fresh fruit, fruit juice, plentiful coffee, tea and a cooked to order breakfast. No buffet breakfast here.
Messaged ahead to advise the guest house of our late evening arrival time. Was messaged back straight away and they accommodated our request.
The service is excellent and the lodge amazing. Far from a sterile, cloned room from a hotel chain.
Everything was very nice at the Newark Lodge. Breakfast was great each morning. The host and hostess helped us with identifying activities during our stay.
The apartment is spacious and clean, also a bit comfortable.
However, this was the first apartment I would lodge in that didn't have cleaning supplies or a washing machine.
Was I supposed to stay in an apartment for a week without having it cleaned by the apartment owners or by myself?
I didn't understand that.
I However reached out to the owner who later got me a brush and dustpan.
Nice big room, parking right outside the lodges, quiet considering its just off a very busy dual carriageway (A1). Room was a bit dated but for the price it served it's purpose. Would stay again when passing through
