Excellent lodge park, great facilities although unused as with our dog. Staff excellent and helpful in reception. Apartment really comfortable and spacious..
We liked the cleanliness, it was very comfortable, the owners seemed to think of everything from cutlery for toddlers to puncture outfit for cyclists.
If we're ever visiting that area again we will definitely try to book The Lodge again and we will be recommending it to others.
Country Lodge Retreat was ideally situated for our needs. There is plenty of room for a child to play safely. Lucy provided lots of little touches to make our stay special over Christmas.
The lodge is very spacious, the pictures don’t do it justice! Everything was clean and well organised. The little extras (tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps and fudge!) were a lovely touch. Everything had been thought of, we couldn’t ask for more.
Wow was so impress car was safe over night benign next door to a police station was was very clean well equipped even a fan, toiletries, tea coffee chocolate drinks better than a premier inn/travel lodge even got biscuits
