Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Beautiful clean and quaint little cottage/lodge with everything you could need for self-catering and a little bit extra (e.g. kitchen roll, salt and pepper, tin foil, milk etc 😁)
Had the best weekend relaxing with my hubby kiddie free! The lodge was spectacular, had everything we needed, the shower was amazing! The bbq was so easy to use and the hot tun and the views were priceless 👌 AMAZING. The hosts were lovely and on hand if needed.
The location is absolutely amazing, green fields all around with plenty of sheep and a view of the lake. We loved the hot tub and the cozy little lodge as well, super well equipped!
Honestly better than I expected. The lodge was lovely and the view was brilliant. My daughter absolutely loved the castle park. Will definitely be going back the next time we visit Scotland.
The Room view was superb. Balcony was less than 3 metres from the Loch shore and offered exceptional views. The restaurant also offers the same breath taking views. Enjoyed cocktails and breakfast at the restaurant, breakfast was really nice. The Lodge is an ideal base to travel further North/West into the Highlands of Scotland.
Lodges were so lovely, we had a lovely relaxing few days! Bonus that they are dog friendly! The lodge came equipped with everything you would need and very close to Luss and Helensburgh for nice days out! Bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was a lovely touch! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a lovely stay xx
Gorgeous locations with amazing views of Loch Lomond. The lodge itself was clean, a good size and had everything needed for the stay. Staff were friendly and very approachable, made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and will be back soon! X
I was going to sit down for dinner but as the spotlights where very bright and could not be turned down, due to suffering from migraine headaches, I decided to eat up the road at the Lodge on the Loch.
It was a shame because the restaurant itself and the menu where excellent.
Superb lodge. Comfortable, warm, beautiful views. Patrick was a great host with nothing too much trouble and first rate local recommendations. Loved his boat trips on Loch Lomond. Excellent place for exploring the local area and as a stopping point whether heading North or South. Already looking forward to when we can visit again.
