Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
It felt like home from home, Debbie was so lovely & very welcoming showing us around the Lodge. Myself & the Hubby went to celebrate our 10 year Wedding Anniversary.
Debbie went all out with balloons, champagne & rose petals on arrival for us which I kindly asked if she could do 🥰
5 star accommodation, will definitely be returning with our children next time.
Thank you again! We miss it already. X
Beautiful location. The lodge was perfect, well presented and spotless. The owner; Debbie was so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely stay :)
I would really recommend the lodge to anyone looking for a rest and relaxation, the lodge was so clean and equipped with everything needed to cook and ensure our time was special. The Spa was sublime and the scenery was equally nice with a short walk or drive to the nearest mountain or shop if required. Debbies communication was fantastic and made all questions and concerns easily sorted.
The cabin was immaculate, so clean and tidy. It had everything we could possible need in there. There were maltesers and cookies waiting in the lodge for us on arrival! Such a lovely touch.
The bed was so comfy. The location was so quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was lovely and private.
Debbie was amazing and went above and beyond for us, giving us lifts to and from a few places.
Thank you so so much.
Lovely, cosy lodge in the picturesque countryside. If you’re looking for a quiet get away, this is the place. The hosts are great, and the lodge was spotless when we arrived. 10-15 drive to local villages, and under an hour away for Windermere.
The views were amazing. The lodge was immaculate when we arrived, the host left us some nice chocolate and cookies which were a lovely touch. When we arrived the host showed us around explained the use of the hot tub and let us know she was around for any issues we needed over the weekend. The hot tub was fabulous, fits two which was cosy. The lodge was suited with heating, an air fryer, hob and microwave so we brought along our own food and just stayed in the lodge for a lovely detox weekend.
