Perfect location. Clean and comfortable lodge. The bird food in the feeders was a nice touch and the welcome basket was thoughtful and appreciated. A visit from a pole cat, whilst we were sitting outside was a nice surprise.

From the moment we stepped into the shepherd's hut, it felt like a dream come true. The serene, quiet haven was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Suzi, our incredible host, was a ray of sunshine. She was always smiling, happy to help, and a joy to be around.
I asked Suzi to help me plan a special proposal, and she went above and beyond to make it perfect. She’s a true gem!
On Friday night, under the starlit sky with no light pollution, we spent hours watching shooting stars and soaking up the peace. It was the perfect setting for a magical moment. We even got to see the Milky Way in all its glory.
The Swedish hot tub was a delightful and fabulous addition to this little spot of heaven in the Welsh countryside. With stunning views and a cozy atmosphere, it was the perfect end to our October Saturday.
The hut itself was cozy and comfortable, with a super warm bed and an electric blanket for chilly nights.
The outdoor kitchen was a chef's dream! The gas grill made cooking a breeze, and there was everything you needed to whip up a delicious meal.

The views from this property are like no other, absolutely stunning. It’s so quiet and peaceful, you can completely switch off here. The lodge is very well equipped-there’s not much the owners haven’t thought about. We would definitely stay again.
Everything about the lodge was absolutely perfect from the views to the owners, couldn't ask for a better time away, would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing and amazing holiday
I originally planned a camping trip with my two sons, but luckily we found the Wye Riverside Lodge. We wanted a ‘Boys’ weekend away without the hassle of putting up tents but still enjoying the outdoors and a good old-fashioned campfire. Located right on the river this cozy little lodge exceeded our expectations. It has all the basics you need, is very well-maintained and our host Ridley was extremely helpful and friendly. Really enjoyable weekend and we will definitely be visiting again.
the lodges are set in beautiful rural countryside, there are 6 or 7 lodges spaced 50yards apart, very peaceful, the lodges are so well equipped I would be happy to live in one! can wait for our next trip!
The setting was quiet and peaceful the lodges are far enough apart as to feel like you have your own space. Lovely place to go with dogs. And the double bed was incredibly comfy
