Clean and comfortable room; had everything we needed for a nights stay.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
We couldn't hear any noise from the pub.
Walked into town (app 30 mins) and got a taxi back for £8.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Sunflower Lodge was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and well equipped.
The host, Charles, was very helpful and flexible, responding quickly to questions.
It's a fantastic location near the beautiful River Nidd. The pub was great too, with evening activities.
Caravan was excellent. NO faults at all. With everything you could possibly need for a few days away. Will definitely be going back to Sunflower Lodge 👍👍
Yvonne and Jonathan where great hosts, excellent communication. The lodge was lovely, very clean and well presented. Excellent location. The site itself has a lovely area by the river, great for swimming, paddling and fishing. The staff in the onsite bar where great too, unfortunately they weren't serving food at this time but where happy for you to order takeout to eat in.
The luxury lodges are well thought out and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our dog Bailey enjoyed the enclosed garden. Rachael the host ensured a smooth check in. The welcome pack which included a pack of eggs was a lovely touch. Lovely walks around the area and a great pub (bluebell Inn) within walking distance across the fields along a bridle path. Would definitely return. Great base for Knaresborough/ Harrogate
The pods were great - clean, comfortable modern and really well equipped. Plenty of space and obviously very well thought out. The kids loved the little bunk beds! The location is lovely, we were there in thick mist in February but the view would be great in the summer! Very close to Knaresborough which is well worth a visit. Rachael is a very attentive and helpful host. We stayed as two families and rented both lodges which worked really well.
Hollins Farm Lodges are quirky, cosy and perfect for that 'reset' break, in a super location close to beautiful villages and great connections to York. Host was fantastic, lovely stay - highly recommended.
Everything was perfect, the location, the lodge were great. Rachael the owner went above and beyond for our visit. It was such a lovely quiet location. The lodges have absolutely everything one could need and are fitted to a high standard.
First time staying in a lodge and the property was exceptional. Host gave clear instructions and the even provided a breakfast hamper. Defo will try lodges more often then hotels now but the bar has been set very high after staying here.
