Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The location was exceptional, beautiful views of the sea. Easy access to beach and nestled between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. The lodges were large and had everything you needed. Great bar and restaurant and the kids loved the heated pool.

Lovely warm and clean cabin. Came for a family wedding. Facilities were excellent, used pool bar and walked in the grounds. Kitchen had all the equipment needed, nothing was missing. Really pleased and will come back. Have told friends about Watermouth Lodges. 5☆

This lodge was one of the best equipped we have stayed in, and we have stayed in similar lodges many times in the New Forest. Everything was clean and comfortable, easy to access, and the welcome pack items were ideal.

The location and quiet set up nestled behind a castle in a quiet valley. The lodges are clean, warm and quiet. They are very dog friendly and have easy clean wood floors. All facilities included , kitchenware, dishwasher and even washing machine with a separate shower and large corner bath. The bar is cosy and prices are acceptable for a holiday location. We will come again and recommend the location to friends.

The lodges were well set out. Amazingly friendly staff across the board. Couldn't do enough for us and just very attentive. Some good bits for the kids to do at the park as well

Another great place to stop off from the Tarka trial. Lovely place, and especially liked being right at the top with fantastic views over the sea and cliffs. The room was very comfortable and a little quirky which I really like (an antidote to the Travelodges of this world!).

Ideal for what we were looking for. Needed two lodges for family get together, asked for two together but we were put in two separate ones on different levels and yet lodge next door was empty? We did inform the property of some of the party having walking difficulties but this seemed ignored. Facilities were good for our needs.

We ended up staying at Watermouth Lodges at short notice because our original accommodation let us down on the day. We booked confirmed and arrived within 2 hours which was excellent - thank you Watermouth lodges.
