Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The location was perfect, the lodge was immaculate and had everything needed for a short stay, if I am ever in the location again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at pinewood lodge again.

We loved this place, best accommodation I have found in this area over many years visits .The lodge was well laid out, clean, comfortable and cosy.Fabulous bed that I didn't want to get out of.Taylors coffee bags, and Yorkshire tea provided along with a pint of milk, small bottle of wine and a bottle of beer .It was really peaceful and there was a small lake with benches outside where you could watch the squirrels and the wood pigeons.I can't wait to return.

Beautifully decorated lodge and the photos do not do it justice! Great attention to detail and thoughtful gestures such as milk in the fridge, a great selection of quality teas and coffees and a snack xx Angela the hostess could not have been more accommodating and we have already booked a return stay!xx

This is honestly the best place we’ve ever stayed! So intimate, unique, fantastic location for Download Festival, wonderful host and delicious breakfast! We loved the skylights in our room and the bathroom felt like a spa! The breakfast chats with our host and fellow lodgers were lovely and the secure car park put our minds at rest. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you! :)

The lodge itself was beautiful! Very clean and cosy. Beds was very comfortable, provided tea/coffee/milk ect. Provided a welcome pack that gave us lots of places to visit and list of local pubs to eat out. Also provided a selection of local take away menus which was great, we was able to order a take away to our lodge door and enjoy a cosy night in. Really enjoyed our stay, quiet location. Would recommend to anyone.
