It was absolutely a joy. To stay at the barker stakes farm, i could not fault It .being a single father of 2 children, It was the ideal place to stay, I will highly recommend it to anyone. Location of the lodges was lovely and peaceful. A car is necessary to easy access to many interesting places to visit. We had a lovely time. Having two young children with us, the area felt safe to let them play outside the lodge.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful and we had really good clear communication with the owners and the whole process was really simple from booking, to arriving to checking out. The WiFi, hot tub and smart tv were an added luxury after a busy day of exploring Yorkshire.

The site was beautiful and beautifully kept. Lodge was spacious, cosy and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Didn’t get to try the hot tub due to a minor operation last week (gutted as it looked soooooo inviting!!)
