Amazing place! I'm so pleased that we found this little gem! Shared facilities was brilliant! Wendy thought about every single detail :) fire pit, little boat, BBQ, all those little wooden huts! I was speechless when they have introduced me to the area.. beautiful peaceful place. If you like a stay surrounded by nature, off grid, without reception in Your phone then this is the place!

Everything about the Lodge was fantastic. This is the 6th time we've been in the last 8 months and this lodge is up there with the best. The interior is done to a high standard. Everything about the Lodge was excellent. This will most certainly be our go to Lodge when we stay again.

We loved everything about Wolds Away from the minute we arrived. The lodge was inviting, comfortable and stylish. It contained everything we needed for a wonderful weekend with family. And the hot tub was a great hit with everyone. We had a lovely afternoon at the local on the first day. Wood fired pizza a delight. The next evening meal was at the pub restaurant and was delicious. Lovely friendly staff too.
We made friends with Nellie the pony and enjoyed listening to birdsong every morning on the terrace with a cuppa. Loved every second ❤️
The lodge was amazing with unbelievable views across totally open countryside. The animals were gorgeous as well! We had a lovely meal at the Wolds Inn, the food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend a stay here.
Our 4th stay in Wine Down, we absolutely love it here, it truly is like home from home. As soon as you open the door, you feel relaxed. Gorgeous views from the lodge, excellent accommodation, very spacious and has everything you need, spotless. Perfect place to spend chilled days taking in the views.
FAntastic lodge, with its own hot tub. Very private with amazing views of the Yorkshire countryside. Lovely walks and a great pub in the village. Exceptionally well appointed and a gas BBQ on the decking. What more could we ask for?
Beautiful location, so relaxing and peaceful, everything you needed and more, the lodge it’s self was so clean and beautiful, not a thing out of place, it was as if we was the first people to of stayed there, there was milk and Prosecco in the fridge on arrival which was a lovely surprise, owner was lovely and replied to any questions straight away.. this really is a little hidden gem! I’d definitely return 🥰
Beautiful little place, nice and quiet, the lodges are so luxurious, i cannot recommend enough and the owners are fantastic.
