Absolutely everything!
The cabin was lovely and cosy and the surroundings are beautiful.
The hot tub was amazing. We used it day and night.
We loved the Christmas banner and little Christmss tree.
We had everything we needed. There was a good choice of breakfast and also a few treats of chocolate, prosecco and jam.
We enjoyed the woodland walks and also the local pubs.
The Barley Mow and Duke of York were both very friendly and the food was delicious.
In walking distance too!
The hosts Frankie and Jonathan were really lovely and welcoming.
We had such a fantastic, relaxing break away we've booked to come back again already.

Sarah was so welcoming and willing to help, and the property was clean, spacious and had everything we could have needed for our stay. Seeing the Alpacas roaming around so close by was lovely as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

This place is brilliant..its quiet and the Lodge itself has everything you need.The hot tub is relaxing and there is plenty to do in the area.
Frankie and Jonathon are great hosts and leave you things to have breakfast with.There is some decking you can sit out on and the lights make it all look nice in the evening.I would defo recommend staying here.There is also a bbq you can use .

Large, spacious lodge, which would have been ideal had my family been able to travel with me - all the amenities you could need for a short break.
The outdoor bbq and seating would be great of a summer evening, just needs cleaning down so useable.
All communication with Vicky was superb. She is friendly, flexible and efficient. The directions to the lodge were very clear and, although slightly tucked away, I found it without any problems. The lodge itself was clean, plenty of towels and linen and the beds really comfortable. Wifii signal was good. I had everything I needed in the kitchen to prepare meals and I would heartily recommend and also use again myself. The spot is wonderful - brilliant to wake to birdsong and sunlight coming through the trees.
The location was beautiful, the weather wasn't too good for our stay so we couldn't explore the grounds
The lodge was wonderful, 3 of us stayed in the lodge and was plenty big enough for us
