The cabin was very comfortable. We liked the little touches such as milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, biscuits and cereal. Everything you needed on arrival, even in the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, Deodorant etc. Very thoughtful.

Fabulous accommodation, we stayed for 10 days whilst moving house and we were glad to have found this property. Everything we needed and more was in the lodge , bed was super comfy , owners on site and really friendly and helpful. Quiet location and in short walking distance to shops. Can highly recommend this little lodge.
Great location for me to travel to work, the host is fantastic makes you feel welcome and is very friendly. The single room I lodged in was just the job, enough space to move around, a comfy bed and a basin for a wash. The separate shower cubicle is great easy to use and plenty hot enough. Parking onsite is very welcome and plentiful.
Chestnut Lodge is a beautiful and well appointed cottage. The cottage is situated in a very peaceful location. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Very comfortable beds, comfortable bed linen, plenty of towels provided etc. The private outside courtyard is a huge bonus too.
Great lodge, comfy warm beds very quite. Great communication from the owners. Dereham has a strong place in my heart and I try to go there as much as I can and I will now have this place as a must stay from now on.

Chestnut Lodge is absolutely stunning - the photos do not do it justice - it is so well equipped and extremely comfortable and peaceful. Jon and Sam are excellent hosts and answered any questions I had immediately. My parents and I absolutely loved our stay and would definitely book again. Thank you Jon and Sam for being such wonderful hosts.
