Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Iona lodge was very quirky and very clean and comfortable. It had everything you needed. It had a lovely decking area with patio furniture and a swinging garden seat
Everything...I would highly recommend this wonderful lodge. It was very clean and very cosy and comfortable, and had everything you needed for a lovely stay. The location is ideal for travelling and exploring.
The view is simply stunning from the lodge, it was peaceful and very relaxing. And it was just a 5 minute stroll down to the loch and to the little shop, we're you could sit outside and have something to eat and a coffee.
I had the most peaceful, relaxing wondwrful holiday here.
Amazing Lodges - views were beautiful. Kitchen is equipped with all that is needed - Livingroom is perfect, complimented with the nice log fire. Bedrooms and bathroom and perfect.
