Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Brilliant location so peaceful, the lodge is just as the pictures if not better. Spotlessly clean and the food from the restaurant was amazing will definitely be back
Luxurious. Everything you need for a peaceful trip away. Views were amazing. Finished to a high standard. Amazing hosts. Delicious food at the restaurant and meals delivered to lodge if preferred. Very well priced
The bath in the bedroom was an excellent addition.
Ten minute drive into Clitheroe. Also a great little village with lovely local shops. Will definitely be returning
Fantastic location, right off the main road so easy to get to. The park is very peaceful, with great views from the lodge overlooking the hills and lake. Walk into the village for food, drink, shops etc, perfect for us. Immaculate accommodation and a nice touch leaving a bottle of wine and some snacks for guest arrival.
Exceptionally clean and tidy not just the lodge but the complete park . Staff on hand anytime you need them . So quiet and comfortable, will 100% be staying again
We stayed for my husband's birthday. The lodges are beautiful. Decorated and finished to a very high standard.
The free-standing bath in the bedroom was an extra treat.
We were very comfortable and could have stayed for longer.
We had an evening meal at the restaurant and the food was amazing. Lots of choice , very tasty and high-quality ingredients.
We would absolutely recommend for a weekend away.
Myself and my partner really enjoyed the space we had some other lodges and the landscape and the wildlife was just excellent and we just enjoyed every minute of it!!
We stayed in one of the lodges: fantastic views over fields to the hills. Roe deer wondered past checking out the apple trees and a rabbit and a hare were grazing right outside our window.
There’s also a great nature trial running through the grounds.
The main building is a very attractive old Manor House.
Comfortable room with king size bed. Great breakfast.
Roaring fire in the lounge.
