The lodge was nicely decorated, modern but cosy. The hot tub and the log burner were definitely the highlights. We had lovely views onto fields with sheep grazing. The beds were comfortable and the lodge was nice and warm. We were able to park right outside our lodge. The late checkout on Sunday was very appreciated.

Sherwood Lodge, hotel in Cheddar

Sherwood Lodge is set in Cheddar, 30 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station, 30 km from Bristol Cathedral, and 31 km from Cabot Circus.

excellent place , great location however the main double bed was really uncomfortable . You can feel the springs coming through the mattress . We both left with bad backs . Also The main bedroom requires a blackout blind as the light at night from the toilet block lights up the room .It was a shame as could easily be fixed but it did ruin the stay .

The location of the lodges are fantastic, so peaceful in a tranquil countryside setting. Our Primrose lodge was very well presented with quality fixtures and fittings, as well as a very comfortable bed! All facilities are supplied, hot tub is a nice touch, although there are other lodges nearby it is vey private.

Really nice guy Rob runs the lodges. Really helpful prior to us going and very helpful.in regards to sorting out a travel cot for us for our little one. Location very rural and you'd need to drive to stay there, however everything is within 20 minutes drive. Cheddar is about 5 minutes. Lovely and spacious. Very clean. Modern. Beds Really comfy and good shower.
