The lodges were fabulous, we loved it our group of ten loved the 6 person and the smaller 4 person lodge.
The bigger one was very spacious and we all had a lovely time. It was in a great location for us.
The Coach house restaurant provided an outstanding roast dinner on Sunday and we had a lovely meal in the cafe too. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Would definitely return.
Liked being at the bottom of the lodges was quiet , the walk in forest was lovley .hot tub was fab shower was powerful .we did get wifi which we thort we wasn't going to .
Absolutely amazing lodge, so clean and surprisingly warm. Kids loved the private hot tub that almost all lodges had. Wish we booked for longer, it’s that good we booked while we were still here to come back for wife’s birthday.
We stayed in the Shrew Lodge. The staff had opened the lodge for us and had the hot tub ready. If you want complete escapism, the lodges are perfect. They are clean, very comfortable and decorated nicely. We will definitely be going back.
Cottage was absolutely adorable to stay in, the staff were friendly and always willing to help, the location is very peaceful and the perfect place to go to to unwind and de-stress. The lodges also have access to a lovely pool, hot tub and gym which is a great added bonus. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a countryside get-away!
The lodge was really spacious and spotlessly clean. I didn’t realise there were two bathrooms when I booked, which was a massive bonus as my friend and I went with our children so each family had one bathroom. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space. The lodges are well spaced among the trees so you really do feel away from it all. We barely saw anyone else and it was silent at night. The hot tub was a lovely addition and it was great that it was already up to temperature when we arrived.
Beautiful location and lovely well equipped and comfortable lodge. perfect for our family get together. Have stayed at this park many times and in several different lodges, never had any issues with any of them. love it here
Unfortunately our trip was spoiled by selfish inconsiderate people in lodge behind us. First night of stay they partied until 04.00.
2nd night stopped at 01.45 but in my opinion this was due to it raining as they were outside partying.
In fairness Woodland lodges have replied to my complaint stating there is telephone number in information folder which had i rung issue would have been dealt with immediately. I would have thought this number was for emergencies only.
Knowing this now I would definitely book again.
