Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We initially booked for one night, but once there decided to book a 2nd night. Unfortunately the lodge we were in was not available for the 2nd night, however, we were given the option of another lodge. Both lodges were fantastic and had everything you needed in them and also both very comfortable. Staff (Jason & also the cleaner) were 10/10, great customer service.
Super friendly staff, location was absolutely beautiful and the lodge was clean and well equipped for a short break. Very peaceful area with low level noise in the evenings across the lodges or apartments on the site, family friendly location.
Lovely lodges, brilliant location with a stunning few from the terrace. Staff were very helpful finding our room and getting ue checked in.
Hot tub was clean and brilliant. Grounds very well kept and surround pub and restaurant were stunning.
The location was wonderful; it is easy to walk from the lodges to the Loch and the West Highland Way in addition to easy access to the lovely little shop/pub/cafe across the street. The staff were helpful and friendly despite being seemingly overwhelmed with tasks.
Balmaha is a beautiful village on the east of Lomond. On the West Highland Way for walkers and with little traffic. The lodges are new and very clean. The staff on check in were lovely. Quite quiet over the Christmas period. I will definitely return.
Rosefinch lodge was very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for a self catering stay (fridge, hob, pots, pans, etc), hot tub was great, all lodges had people in them from what we seen but we heard no noise, car was parked on site over night and only 1 minute walk from car to lodge with bags.
Location is good it has a pub/restaurant with a shop next door about 2 minutes walk away from lodges and plenty of good views with the loch and hills all around.
Would book again.
