My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Black Mountain Bespoke Breaks in the stunning Black Mountains of Wales, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived in the evening, we felt like we had stepped into a tranquil retreat, with the entire place to ourselves.
Caitlin, our incredible host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Despite the chilly weather causing some pipes to freeze in one of the huts, Caitlin immediately resolved the issue by offering us another hut. Her open, honest communication and willingness to accommodate us were truly commendable.
The thoughtful touches throughout our stay made it feel extra special. We were greeted with fresh bread, farm eggs, homemade jams, Prosecco, sausages, and milk—an absolute treat! The setting was breathtaking, and the interior of the hut was beautifully designed, creating a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere that we instantly fell in love with.
Caitlin’s hospitality didn’t stop there; she generously allowed us a late checkout, which gave us extra time to soak in the serene environment. With plenty of wood provided for the fire, we were able to relax and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the hut without a worry.
I wholeheartedly recommend Black Mountain Bespoke Breaks to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway. My girlfriend and I left feeling completely refreshed and already planning our next visit. Thank you, Caitlin, for an incredible and unforgettable experience—we will be singing your praises to everyone we know!

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
What an exceptional place! Excellent location, the views from the property are phenomenal. Parking is super easy and the spaces are huge. The property is stunning, ultra-modern and clearly well looked-after. The room was stunning, absolutely huge and immaculate. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The en-suite was also enormous. Breakfast was again exceptional. We would recommend Camden Lodge to everyone and will definitely be back!
This is the second time that we have stayed at Camden Lodge. You will not find a better b&b anywhere.
All of the property is spotlessly clean and the cooked breakfast is second to none. We were given a lovely welcome by Elaine, the owner. The views from the bedroom, breakfast room and lounge are stunning. If you want to stay in Brecon, don’t look anywhere else other than Camden Lodge.
I paid £90 bed and breakfast. Our evening meal was was good, On this trip i also paid £94 to Travel Lodge , with no breakfast.

I am a 5* girl and I was happy.
Farm tracks and stream to explore, horses in site.
Bed was very comfortable, room was really large and spacious, and had everything we needed. Wi-Fi was fast. Coffee and tea outside on the landing was a nice touch, as were the complimentary toiletries provided. Shower was hot and powerful. Lodge was very warm and cosy. Parking was really easy, and good location to be able to walk into Brecon town centre.
We highly recommend this B&B. The lodge is beautiful, the rooms are lovely and very clean, the bed was great, and the view from the room amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. We loved staying here. The hosts were so nice and very responsive. We highly recommend this B&B and would absolutely come back!
Had a great stay. Lovely lodge, great facilities, fab breakfast, helpful staff. Wish we'd been able to stay another night to enjoy the restaurant menu, it looked lovely.
Clean, great value, quiet room, great location. Lovely fireside area seemed like a country lodge more than a Wetherspoons
