Absolutely exceeded my expectations, beautiful lodge, in immaculate condition and the views are outstanding. Such a peaceful place.
Games room for additional fun, great if you have children with you. A little shop/honesty box on site selling milk, nice bread, eggs, sweets and few essentials would be a great benefit but there is a village a 5min drive away which provides everything you need.
Very clean and tidy accommodation, Check In and Out no problem at all.

Beautiful lodge with beautiful views. Has everything you need for a quite getaway. Had all kitchen utensils available to make big family meals. The lodge was very spacious and patio doors leading out onto a seating area out back. Not only beautiful land views but the stars on a night time were amazing to see. Teenage boys went to the hall to play pool, toddler loved the animals. Family had a really nice stay here. Come in February so could imagine it to be even more beautiful in the summer months.
We stayed in one of the guest rooms overnight on the way back from a holiday in Scotland. The room was spotlessly clean, roomy and comfortable. In a perfect location, peaceful and quiet, but only a short distance from the village of Bellingham with pub, supermarket etc. We dined at the Riverdale Hall Hotel on recommendation of the lady at reception and had a super meal in lovely surroundings at a reasonable price. Would like to stay again and thinking of booking one of the lodges for a longer stay.
Accommodation was clean and comfortable with lovely views and Bellingham is a gorgeous village. Loved the lodges interesting history and used the kitchen for our Chinese takeaway. Accommodated our bikes and late arrival.
Enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay in Hadrian lodge,it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay,from fully equipped kitchen to free WiFi and Netflix and fantastic views.The grandkids loved the hall opposite the lodge where they could run around , especially when the weather was so bad we couldn't go out walking.We forgot to bring our binoculars,but borrowed a stargazing back from our lovely host Sue.
The lodges are 0.5 mile from Bellingham, surrounded in hills and farmland. Very quiet and relaxing. The owners met us and we’re extremely friendly and helpful. Provided us with a cot / high chair with no extra cost.
For what we paid we got more then what we wanted.
Large spacious lodge with a cosy atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Plenty of amenities and great parking.
It was perfect value for money We will 100% be back!
