Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The location is perfect. The Lodge is cleverly designed and so welcoming. The owners could not have done more to make our stay happily memorable. We look forward to returning in the Autumn.

The lodge was cosy and comfortable. we would not usually stay in studio type accommodation but this was well presented and thought out with good facilities in the compact space. The location is great, very quiet, right by the river and the hosts are welcoming and friendly.

The lodge is beautifully appointed and the hosts have thoughtfully included everything that's needed - from a champagne stopper to deep luxurious beds - to ensure our visit was lovely and comfortable. The lodge's position on the River Test is nothing short of idyllic and the village of Wherwell is incredibly picturesque and a great location from which to explore the very special surroundings with its abundance of chalk rivers and streams.

Travelled to Andover from Swansea to attend Family Engagement Party in nearby in Ludgershall. We were just looking for a value-for-money 2 nights stay nearby. Staff very friendly and accommodating, rooms clean and tidy, lovely clean bed linen & a good breakfast in the mornings. Glad we chose the White Hart and not the nearby Premier Inn or Travel Lodge as we also got chance to have a look around the Town as it was so central.

We stayed here for work purposes and couldn't have asked for lodgings. The rooms are fantastic and airy and the living areas were more than adequate. Absolutely spot on!

The lodge is lovely, really relaxing and so well equipped. So many detailed finishing touches, it really feels like a home from home. The surrounding area is beautiful, so many wonderful walks and cosy village pubs.

Tranquil lodge set in beautiful countryside with views of the river and countryside beyond. The lodge has everything you need. We just wish we could attend longer. Tessa and Simon were perfect hosts and provided lots of info about the local area, as well as being on hand to support during our stay. The lodge is beautifully decorated and I have already shipped online for the lovely toiletries that were provided.
