Peace and quiet with a beautiful view of mountains and sea. We were given good advice of things to see in the area. Accomodation was excellent. A nice pool area to use as well. A gem of a place.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
This was a new experience for us - a tent of thick canvas raised off the ground on decking. The decking extended out with a small table and armchairs, perfect for watching the sunset. Inside the tent was a small kitchenette with all the basic equipment for making a meal, a sleeping area with beds of rough-hewn wood and a big dining table. The shower / toilet block was about 40 yards away (torch useful after dark!) Parking was next to our lodge
Location and facilities were wonderful. Very well organised holiday complex. We loved our “safari” tent. Incredible experience. Breakfast on a terrace was an event on its own! Delicious croissants and a beautiful views! What else do you need? :)
