Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We only stayed for one night, arrived at teatime and left early for our train back to the uk but we had a lovely last night, the host David was very helpful in anything we needed and the lodge was beautiful, we’d definitely come back for longer next time!
Inside the lodge was clean, secure parking, bed comfy. Location near Calais good.
