Looking for a lodge?

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The pension is located a five-minute’s walk from the Plaza do Obradoiro and the Cathedral. The owners could not have been more helpful, allowing me to leave my bags before the check-in time and helping me to locate places I needed to take care of some errands. The room was small, but immaculate and very well-appointed, with everything I needed as a solo traveler staying for one night. I travel to Santiago regularly and have definitely added the Campo de Estrelas to my list of reliable lodgings in the city.
