Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The location is great, away from the noise in Aswan. Having breakfast with a view of Philae Temple is super. Room furniture is basic but has all one needs. Staff is friendly and correct. Kitchen at Eco Nubia served us the best food of our trip. Breakfast is local Nubian food, interesting and very tasty. Mohammed organized us a boat each time we wanted to leave / return to the lodge - flawless communication via Whatsapp. We loved our stay.

The view from our room and from the outdoor dining area was spectacular. The meals were delicious. The staff prepared a great box breakfast for the days we needed to leave early for sightseeing. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The boat taxi to and from the lodge was quick and efficient.

The lodge is directly opposite Pilae Temple - and has a stunning view of the islands. Very easy to get to Aswan main ferry port and back. The rooms were well equipped and well put together. Breakfast was amazing with, especially with the view of Isis Temple.

This is not a standard lodge but a truly unique place (location + eco lodge) where you go for good reason. Then you can enjoy the experience. What a view! You are travelling back in time and can enjoy the light and sound of Philea temple almost as if in the place. Also very good food, but you must bring your own booze! No TV and no Internet fits with the place!

Atmosphere, location, view, hospitality, food especially breakfast and welcoming staff Please note ... Eco Nubia is a lodge at magnificent nature for relaxation not a five star hotel to avoid wrong judgement.

An absolutely gorgeous setting on an island about 300 meters across the water from Philae Temple, this Eco-lodge is built according to traditional Nubian methods with natural materials. The only exceptions are electric lights and plugs, and modern bathrooms. The kitchen offers a varied menu featuring the local cuisine, and the staff is warm, friendly, and proud of their heritage. This is a perfect place to come and relax, the longer the better!
