The most superb facility, owner/host, staff, food and natural surroundings that I have been to in Ecuador. We've been here in Ecuador nearly 5 months now and I can easily say that this is the best overall experience I've had so far. Efrain's science and construction/building background has made this a super place to stay in the paradise of Mindo. The beautiful structures blend right in with the wonder of it all and seems to beat out the other lodges we noticed around. These precision buildings strategically positioned are set back from roads yet easily accessible to walk to other areas of interest. We took the bird tour which was stunning. Efrain's equipment and guidance to see and what to look for was smooth and fun. He grew up in this area witnessing the protection of this nature preserve which made his knowledge invaluable. We learned so much and enjoyed the privilege of such spectacular wildlife creatures and plant life. As far as the food and staff goes the unity, love and respect for wildlife and environmental running of the grounds (solar, composting, water cleaning systems) made obvious the passion which is put into action with team effort and cooperation that was shared generously with us in a quiet patient enthusiasm in true and exquisite Ecuadorian fashion. Food so delicious and made to order, all our requests met, made it fantasic to come to home base to eat there between excursions or pleasant walks. We will be back and hopefully with other friends to share such a unique and once-in-a- lifetime experience that will be forever memorable. We will be back and continue to explore the area from Casa Divina as our home base. Happy trails to all!

The property is located in the heart of cloud forest, run by a biologist couple. They dedicate their lives to create a sustainable ecosystem for local animals and plants with minimal chemicals and human interruptions (you definitely should check out the biopiscina). We do feel like we are elves living in the paradise. Our cabin (with all modern facilities) is surrounded by lake, woods, quite stone roads stretching deep into the forests and countless plants and birds. We really didn’t have to leave the property since we could simply hike and birdwatch inside the property. The crews also offered seamless top tier hospitality- they provided car services from Quito to the property, helped us recruit birdwatching tour guide and provided all the information should we need for the trip.

Great place for a family stay. Our family enjoyed the pool and saw beautiful birds (including rufous Motmots and a toucan) in the gardens. We appreciated the quiet and security of the private location. The breakfast brought to our suite was delicious and more even than our teens could eat. We appreciated having the mini-fridge and microwave. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Would stay here again for sure.

Ultra luxurious lodging tucked away in the beauty of The Mindo cloud forest. The unique lodges and property are so well designed built with such care and creativity. If that were not enough, all the staff (especially JuanPablo) took such good care of us, thoughtful and kind, and always going beyond anything you would ever expect.

The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. The lodge is well-maintained, offering scenic views, peaceful sounds, and incredibly nice people. My partner and I stayed here for five days following a trekking holiday to relax and reconnect, and it was exactly what we needed. The staff was not only caring but also attentive, genuinely listening to our feedback and making small changes daily to enhance our experience. We had an amazing time.
The host was amazing! Great communication on Whatsapp. Wonderful location right next to trails and the Punto Ornitologico birdwatching tower! Was very receptive and even got me a pot and colander for cooking. Connected me with Andres, a taxi driver who took me to Paz de Las Aves and other prime birding areas for significantly less than the services offered by the birding lodges.
While I booked for 12 days, I stayed two extra; so 14.
We arrived late because of some rental car issues at the airport, bit they waited to serve us dinner even after 10pm.
The lodge is... more than amazing, the view, the silence, the jaccuzzi.

We spent our last two nights in Ecuador here. The location in the middle of cloud forest, just outside Mindo, was beautiful and stress-free. The lodges were well appointed and the beds long and comfortable. Although, there are lots of food options in Mindo itself, we ate at the lodge both evenings; the food was high quality and Ecuadorian, yum! All this would not be possible without the wonderful staff, especially Divina and Camilla.
