It was an amazing and relaxing stay. It is a quiet place within the Amazon jungle. We stayed in the big family room, wich was very neat and clean. The Food was fresh and absolutely delicious :)
They organised us an English speaking guide, who was there for only us for the entire day. He had an extraordinary knowledge about the flora and fauna in the Amazon jungle and took us to wonderful spots, which we had completely to ourselves. He even made chocolate with us from the bean to the product as we know it. The entire stuff was friendly and nice. Internet worked perfectly. We can highly recommend this place!!

Absolutely loved it here, it was fairly empty when I went and had the dorm to myself, it was a beautiful wooded cabin with lots of space the room was extremely comfortable, the pillow was my favourite, super comfortable unlike any other in Ecuador, haven't slept that well! All the staff and owners were extremely friendly. The common space was very nice and cozy.

This place is exceptional! Nicest place we have stayed in Ecuador. Super clean, super comfy, great facilities, the staff are all awesome and the chef is an amazing cook. Great views with massage, yoga and sound therapy available. The pool and temezcal (sweat lodge) is the icing on the cake. Lovely jungle walks near by. An absolutely amazing beautiful place to relax and recharge

We absolutely loved our stay at Rio Napo Lodge. I guess we went out of season (November) but it was still surprising that we seemed to be the only guests. We had the use of the wonderful pool to ourselves, which was nice. But the resort deserves better. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was how we wanted it. At the time of our visit, the bridge to Puerto Misahualli was still out but for a minimal sum (about a dollar) you could take a boat across to town, which was much more fun than driving anyway.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Lodge is amazing,
service, staff: not so much (why they ask for allergies and you have to fill out a form to get exactly served what you are allergic to (seafood)?!
The hiking guide was hopeless when one of the group banged his head and we had to return: No updates, do we go back, do we continue? Just running ahead … Pathetic
Food : Bad !!!
The location in the forest is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are friendly, helpful and highly charismatic. We would recommend the Playa Selva Lodge to anyone who intends to explore a tropial forest or simply relax.
Fantastic place in jungle! Very nice lodges (9), spacious, cozy decorated in fantastic garden with pool and nice corners to sit. Food is super, from breakfast, over lunch to dinner! The hikes starting from the lodge were fun and sometimes even challenging. The jungle safari was less enjoyable (only the part on water was fun, the rest was too touristy, the community for example). Special mention for Sean, he arranged everything and did his best to make you feel at home, the right man on the right place! Top location! Would so go back ...
