This hotel is a true escape into nature, located deep in the jungle with open cabins that let you fully immerse yourself in the experience. The cabin we stayed in was incredibly private and unique, with a comfortable bed, a lovely private pool, and breathtaking views. The fresh air and sounds of the jungle made it an unforgettable stay. Esmeralda, the hostess, was absolutely amazing and made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. A heads-up: being so close to nature means you’ll encounter some fascinating creatures and hear all kinds of sounds at night. We loved it—it really enhanced the adventure and connection to the surroundings.

From the moment we arrived at Clava Verde we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. Every single aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The hospitality at this place was second to none. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. What I like to point out is that the food was simply outstanding. Chef Emelie and her staff clearly takes great pride in their craft, as every meal was great. From breakfast to dinner, each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety of options catered to every taste, and we especially loved the local specialties. The place was very clean and designed very nicely. They were a few places that you could hang around and just relax. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. One of the highlights of Clava Verde was the breathtaking view. Whether we were enjoying a meal on the terrace or relaxing at the pool, the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. Last but not least we want to thank the owner Jonathan! He was incredibly kind, cultured, and full of fascinating stories about his experiences in the Dominican Republic. Taking the time to chat with him was a true pleasure, and we highly recommend that any guest do the same—his insights and warm personality added a unique and personal touch to our stay.

had a wonderful stay! I recommend if you look for something basic, away from everything, the owner is nice and speaks French, the place is well maintained. WiFi only in the main area, mosquitoes nets.

I really do not have another option then to give the best score on each aspect. We had such a great time! The cabin is beautiful, location is perfect and the best of all; the staff is just magnificent! Service is of an extraordinary level!!
