Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Our lodges were located closely to each other. It is on a very quiet spot at Blue Bay Area. The lodges are very nice and situated near Blue Bay beach. A car is a must have to get around Curaçao and within the Blue Bay Area.
The lodge was much nicer than I had expected, for such a hot country, it was very cool inside and I had no issues with the lodge at all. The beach was a mere 5 minute drive away, with free access to guests staying in the lodges. Probably the best beach I visited in my time in Curacao, quick service bar, with great cocktails. My friend has a gluten allergy, and the resturaunt on the beach was very accomodating.
Beautiful beach, very confortable lodge. AC working perfectly. Great bed. Kitchen was simple but have all you would need. Centrum and sambil is very close
2nd time staying at The Lilu. Enjoyed my stay both time. The cleanliness of the apartment inside and outside. Staffs always friendly. Apartment is in a prime location with easy access to just about everything. Apartment is gated, a police station nearby; needless to say, I felt safe during my stay. Wonderful place to lodge. Definitely check this place if visiting Curacao.
The Scuba Lodge and Suites is in a set of historic beautiful buildings on the oceanfront. The architecture is truly stunning. I absolutely love the colors of the buildings. The infinity pool is lovely. The beds are comfortable. We didn’t actually eat at the bar/restaurant, but it was certainly hopping! The bar is gorgeous.
The staff working the desk and was very nice and helpful. In particular, Dalies was a delight and responded to us after hours when we had a last minute housekeeping issue. She is a rockstar.
Blue bay lodges are a series of nicely located and appointed small self-service apartments with a nearby (free) beach with lots of services and a lovely setting and beach location. It is really quiet, although, inside a big residential private area. It should be a prime location and vacation spot for golf lovers, as it has its own nicely appointed golf course.
The location is very convenient. The private beach is a couple of minutes away from the lodges (by car). There are supermarkets close to the lodges. The swiming pool is very nice.
