It’s a big property with easy access to shops and restaurants. Breakfast provided every morning by the pool. The staff are helpful and nice. They provided a large bottle of drinking water in the refrigerator. Air conditioning!

I loved everything here. It was the perfect costa Rican stay. It felt like a wilderness lodge with spectacular natural grounds and view to the ocean. The pool setting was divine and breakfast remarkableAgnes’ attention to details, aesthetic, and welcoming presence was the icing on the cake. The nearby beach was the most beautiful we have found to date in Costa Rica
This place is amazing. Everything is perfect: The location with the view, the friendly staff, the rooms, the food, the pools, the nature, it’s clean, just wonderful. We‘ve seen a lot around the world but Lagarta Lodge is an unbeatable and beautiful hotel. A short drive to the beaches including Guiones (the hotel offers a shuttle service if you do not have a car).
Lagarta lodge was well maintained, clean, comfortable, the staff are friendly and goes the extra mile and overall the location and views can’t very beat.
This hotel is like staying at a duplex with a private porch because of the white netting curtains. The common area is full of beautiful plants with a very nice pool big enough to do laps in. The common area lodge is nice to hang out in and meet other guest. I will stay here again.
