I LOVED this place. Amazing location in the jungle. The cabin has everything you need, very comfortable, and very clean. The owner Carlos, is a wonderful human - super knowledgeable about the birds and animals around, and also a wonderful breakfast chef. We had a brilliant night tour led by Luna, the resident cat, and we paid in scritches.
Sitting outside reading, listening to the bird song was the most relaxed I've felt in a weeks.
I adored this place and cannot wait to go back. It's also only ten minutes and 2,000 pesos from town.

We had an amazing stay! We were looking for a nice quiet stay in nature and that is what we found. We saw lots of birds, fireflies and an amazing night sky. Also the jacuzzi was a very nice extra!
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Traditional lodging, which means basic facilities, but we had a friendly welcome from the owners and the town of Salento is well worth a visit for a couple of days.
Kasaguada is a beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by nature. I loved chatting with Carlos, who is an absolute gem of a person. He and Willy are excellent hosts. The hike down to the lodge is a bit of an adventure the first time but that adds to the fun. And once you’ve done it once it feels quite simple. Do make sure to wear your hiking boots and only bring what you need, though - they conveniently provide a place in town for you to store your extra things (the people there are also incredibly nice).
Wonderful calm lodge in the middle of nature, with everything you need to relax. William was an excellent host who was eager to share information about the area, for example where to go for a good coffee tour. You can hike around the lodge to a nearby river and see some animals. Our hut was small but sufficient and clean.
The kitchen is very well equipped and they provide a lot of things to do, like books, a tv with Netflix, a chess game and drums to make music.
The location is wonderfull, truly one of our nicest stays in colombia so far. Lovely view from the small Bath at our lodge, to really relax and enjoy nature after one of the hikes in cocora!
Also nice staff, that will bring you without any problems to the entry of valle de cocora!
And the bed was amazing for a good night rest!
Just great!
The lodge for two people was quite nice. The bed was comfortable and it offers interesting environment. I enjoyed the showers outside with the nature. The staff is really kind and the breakfast offered is really good. The location is quite nice for Salento and visiting another towns in the area. The hotel experience is really good.
Beautiful lodge close enough to the main square, but quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious with 3 balconies and lovely views of the town. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and quite filling. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The lodge is situated in the middle of nature. All gardens and green areas around the place are beautifully maintained and are lush beyond belief. Loved the tranquility, could even watch humming birds during breakfast. Lovely hosts that help with anything you need. Getting to pet 3 dogs at breakfast or dinner is just the icing on the cake.
LOVED IT! we stayed in one of the eco lodges for a night and it was amazing! the property is a 10 min walk to Salento town via the mirador and forest/trees. We booked massages which were great and used the hot tub also (book your time slot on arrival) the eco lodges are luxury tree houses and are clean spacious and comfortable. the food in the restaurant is really good and the views are spectacular! the perfect getaway to relax after a busy few days in Salento!
