Cool little place for easy access to hiking in the Aletsch Arena. The rooms are quite small and the views from the Eggishorn side are quite poor, but the easy access to terrain is great. The restaurant that is part of the lodge is great for breakfast and lunch, but closes at 17:00 which is quite early for dinner so you have to make plans to eat elsewhere. Staff were helpful and accommodating for check in past open hours. Fiescheralp feels like a ghost town near sunset as there are only about 3 occupied hotels open for the season. If you enjoy peace and quite this is the perfect place to stay for a few days.

Very close to train station and buses not too far from Brig and Visp. Nice views from hotel breakfast room and balcony. Lots of toilet paper. We had to book here last minute since Zermatt flooded and luckily it was available with late check in. Wifi was pretty fast.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
No hot water in the hotel and we were told this was because they had only just opened for the season. I think if I was 'opening for the season' I would have made sure there was hot water available to guests a priority! The dining room was not open and we had to go to another hotel in the village (seemingly under the same ownership) for dinner. The breakfast was served in the Hotel Lodge Inn and was adequate.
