Location. I was taking a workshop in Gibsons and the lodge was convenient. It was in the 80's for a few days and my room was comfortable. I wanted to have a kitchenette, my room had a good refrigerator, and two burners. The microwave was not working right and after I reported it, it was promptly replaced.
It was sufficient for what I needed for my 6 day stay.
The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The Lodge was easy to find and close from the ferry. This is the only thing I can say that I liked about this place.
The view was outstanding, and I could hear the ocean through my open window as we slept. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and on the quiet road the lodge is situated on. If we have an opportunity we would certainly return.
